How to hold your own garage sale

Organise your items for sale and ensure they look good. Some may need a wash and/or wipe. The better they look the more chance they have of being chosen for purchase.
l
Price your items and have in mind a high and low range for each item, in case your customer may wish to bargain with you. Remember that a garage sale is meant to be a fun way of getting rid of old or unwanted items, so set a realistic price and be happy with seeing your items be loved by another home.
Make sure you have some change handy for the day.
Enjoy the day! and make sure you either save the unsold items for another garage sale, donate to charity or take to your nearest waste management centre’s reuse and recycle shop.

Tips for promoting your garage sale – Let your friends, neighbours and family know you are holding a garage sale. You could even do a Facebook promo if you are tech-savvy. Place a Garage Sale sign at the front of your property.
